Day 3 - Tracking

We did tracking for the 1st time today. Every second of every minute our bodies are shedding skin cells. These cells are what the dogs are sniffing out when they search and rescue. To the dogs it is merely a game of hide and seek. They love to play and their drive is that there is an awesome treat waiting at the end. Many times it is a hot dog, pupperoni, or a favorite ball or chew toy. Kermit was eagerly awaiting his turn. Mom finally made dad hold the leash because when Kermit is ready for action he's ready! None of the dogs would even wait in the car because they were biting at the bit for their turn to play hide and seek! After tracking Kenny tossed Kermit a tennis ball. It bounced off Kermit's nose and landed away from him. Kermit went so fast to get his ball, Kenny landed on the ground like a pretzel as Kermit drug Kenny to reach his prize! It was quite comical. Mom missed it since Danny hid by the basketball court so spent the entire tracking time (over an hour) playing b-ball. He was in heaven just as his buddy Kermit was!
